We bought Klaus, our 1977 green Type 2 camper van from Paul and the team at VW Down Under in May 2018 and have been on the road with him through France and Switzerland ever since. He hasn't missed a beat so far and has run perfectly up hills and down valleys. We love him to bits and he is now one of the family and has been all that we hoped for and much more.

Paul took the time (quite a lot of time) to hear what we were looking for,  talk us through the pros and cons of various buses that they have, and to help us pick Klaus. There is not much that Paul and the team don't know and they provided a lot more in additional work and extras than I had expected to put Klaus and us on the road in style and comfort.

If you are looking for a great classic bus, I would recommend that you check out VW Down Under. For us it was well worth it for the great service they provided and the peace of mind that comes from going to a team of professionals who are clearly dedicated to these classic buses. He won't win any prizes for fuel economy...but wherever we go, Klaus turns heads and brings masses of smiles and waves. Now we are off to Italy and beyond with this gorgeous boy!
