I’ve been a VW fan for years, and having previously owned a couple of old beetles, a ‘now or never’ moment arose – to realise my dream of owning my very own camper van. However, after spending months trawling the internet I came to the conclusion that there was a lot more to it than I first thought – I was way out of my depth.

Then I saw VW Down Under‘s website and decided to give them a call. I always thought I knew what kind of van I was looking for, but after a chat with Paul he made me realise what it was that I really wanted! My dream van turned out to be a right hand drive Westy called Rosie.

The day I got her, I had to drive Rosie 70-odd miles in a blizzard, but I was smiling all the way home. The confidence and enthusiasm that Paul has is infectious, he’s a perfectionist, which means that he sometimes tells you things that you don’t want to hear, but his vans are amazing and I trust his judgment completely.

Rosie is now part of the family and joins us on trips around the Suffolk coast and camping in Norfolk. And I’m still smiling. Thank’s Paul.
